I thought the plan was for me to become a nurse and to wear scrubs for the rest of my life, but that ended up not being the entire plan. After being a nurse for years, I learned that the days that kept me passionate about my job were the days I got to celebrate special moments with my patients. I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my life celebrating with others during their special times.
Yearning to relish every valuable experience, I picked up a camera and never put it down. Not every day as a nurse is filled with happy moments, but every day as a photographer is. I mean, how cool is it that I get to capture and preserve the very best memories of someone's life and put it in an album to be cherished for generations?
